We want coming to Bloom Yoga Bristol to feel simple, welcoming and stress-free — especially if it’s your first time. If you don’t see your question answered here, you’re always very welcome to get in touch.

How do I book a class?

All classes can be booked online via our timetable. Simply choose your class and book in advance.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. Class sizes are limited to keep sessions calm and supportive, so we recommend booking ahead.

I’m nervous — what if I’m new to yoga or Pilates?

You’re very welcome here. Many people join Bloom as complete beginners.

Our teachers offer options throughout and you’re always encouraged to rest or adapt.

What should I bring to class?

Just yourself and comfortable clothes you can move in.

Mats and props are provided — no need to bring anything unless you’d like to.

Do memberships auto-renew?

Yes. Memberships renew automatically and can be cancelled 7 days before renewal.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes - memberships run on a 6-month rolling contract, which renews unless cancelled.

If you’d prefer no commitment, we also offer drop-in classes and class passes.

Can I roll over unused classes?

Memberships - We know life can be busy, any unused credits automatically transfer to the next month. Credits can only be carried forward for a maximum of month month before they expire.

 

Class Passes - credits must be used before the expiry date. 

Can I pause my membership?

Memberships cannot be paused, however any unused credits can be rolled over to the following month.

How do I change or upgrade my membership?

Simply email us and we’ll help.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 12-hour cancellation policy.

Please cancel as early as you can so spaces can be offered to others — thank you.

Memberships:
We know life can be busy and unexpected things can happen, so each member receives 1 free late cancellation per month. After your free late cancellation you'll be charged £8. All No-shows → £8 fee

When can I join Pregnancy Yoga?

From 15 weeks of pregnancy, or earlier if you’re already active.

When can I join Postnatal classes?

  • From 6 weeks after a vaginal birth
  • From 8 weeks after a caesarean birth

Always check with your GP or women’s health physio before attending.

Can I bring my baby to postnatal classes?

Yes. Our Parent & Baby classes are designed for you and your baby to attend together.

Does my child need yoga experience?

No. Our Children’s Yoga & Mindfulness classes are playful, nurturing and beginner-friendly.

Are children’s classes safe?

Yes. Classes are led by fully qualified, Enhanced DBS-checked, trauma-informed instructors.

Do I need to be a member to book a treatment?

No — treatments are open to everyone. Bloom members receive 10% off all therapies.

Is Bloom Yoga Bristol accessible?

We have an accessible WC and aim to make Bloom as inclusive as possible. If you have specific access needs, please contact us so we can support you.

What if I need to rest during class?

Rest is always welcome.

At Bloom, listening to your body is part of the practice - you can pause, modify or simply be still at any time.

Do you have parking?

There is on-street parking around the studio.

Please be mindful of our neighbours and avoid parking in designated private spaces.

You can use The College car park for free after 5.30pm on weekdays and all day at weekends. Access is via College Road, just off Ashley Down Road.

Is there bike parking?

Yes — secure bicycle anchor points are available just outside the studio.

How far is the nearest train station?

Ashley Down Train Station is a 5-minute walk from the studio.

It’s on the Severn Beach Line, with easy connections to:

Bristol Temple Meads, Filton Abbey Wood, Montpelier and Redland.

What buses serve the studio?

Several routes run along Ashley Down Road and nearby Gloucester Road:

  • 75 / 76 (Henbury↔ City Centre /Hengrove)
  • 24 (Southmead ↔ Ashton Gate)
  • 70 / 71 (UWE / Filton ↔ City Centre)
