The Pause Retreat

Take a Meno-PAUSE at our Yoga & Spa Retreat in Bristol

This retreat is suitable for anyone who is peri-to-post menopausal and we welcome all paths including Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), early menopause, surgical menopause.

The Pause Retreat will begin with a ‘Hello Circle’ which provides a safe space for everyone to share how they are doing and to listen to other people’s experiences – I always find that we learn the most from listening to others.

There will be an educational talk on managing emotional and physical symptoms caused by the hormonal imbalances during perimenopause & menopause.

You will then enjoy a gentle and restorative yoga class that has been specifically designed to support you through the menopause. The yoga class is pelvic floor informed and suitable for high tone pelvic floor or prolapse. We will finish the class with a yoga nidra (guided sleep) before floating off to use the outdoor spa facilities.

 

The Spa is hidden away behind beautiful old temple doors within a secret garden.  Enjoy a hot tub, sauna and if brave, take a dip into the cold plunge pool.

        • Sauna
        • Epsom salt plunge pool, in a gorgeous up cycled whisky barrel
        • Hot tub, specifically chosen because for its three vertical liner jets that massages the entire spinal cord.

 

Whilst you are in the outdoor spa, someone will be on hand to serve you with a delicious selection of herbal teas, hand picked from the garden, plus a selection of healthy snacks.

The aim of The Pause Retreat is to provide you with tools & techniques to help you to soothe symptoms and a safe space to connect and share experiences. You will leave feeling grounded, rested and rejuvenated. 

 

What to expect:

      • Sharing Circle: a welcoming and non-judgemental space to share how you are feeling and to support and listen to others experiences.
      • Learn tools & techniques to manage anxiety & overwhelm
      • Yoga practice: breathwork, movement and relaxation techniques that are specifically designed to support menopause
      • Yoga Nidra, a guided relaxation with the use of support props and blankets
      • Journaling
      • Spa

 

Includes a goodie bag of treats and discounts.

This workshop is for all ages of women and people that are going through the menopause.

No previous yoga experience required.

 

12 hours notice must be given to cancel or change bookings.
